Type of Construction:

Renovation – Structural Steel

The Fire Hall Expansion to the SJIAA Combined Services Building involved expanding two of the existing truck bays to house the new larger fire trucks. The construction of the expanded area was matched to the existing building construction of structural steel, finished with metal siding and metal roofing. The project consisted of tight deadlines and lots of coordination with the SJIAA to minimize the impact on the fire hall’s operations. Northbrook Construction was the General Contractor for the project.
